Not a bad word to say about this book, we loved it.

It’s a perfect summer, slow burn, cosy romance that even made us cry. “A great modern romance without being a cheesy rom-com.” This book is not spicy at all (compared to our standards...) but we didn’t care.

The FMC and MMC both believe they’re cursed as every person they date goes on to marry their soulmate next. So to break their curse they agree to date and break up.

The story is driven by both characters complicated and traumatic backstories and current home lives. Circumstance means they can’t be together. The FMC is deeply traumatised by her mother and you could really tell the author worked with a psychiatrist to portray her avoidant reactions in a realistic way. We cried. Our heart broke for these characters. We laughed. We loved.

This is very well written. This book is 3rd in the series so we 100% recommend reading them all!
