The FMC is a pro rugby player which we loved, we sense she was heavily inspired by Iloner Maher, the queen herself.

FMC is in love with her childhood friend and now coach (who is also in love with her) and asks her PT to be her dating coach. PT is conveniently working with the coach too. They all fall in love with each other.

There’s lots to unpack with this story, too much to write here. Unfortunately we just didn’t gel with this story, things felt rushed and a little boring. Considering the FMC and coach were deeply and secretly in love with each other, their relationship was rushed and didn’t sit well. MMCs relationship felt way more believable and enjoyable to read, but all 3 together, something was missing.

We had high hopes for this book, but it missed the mark.
