A Scottish bodyguard and an American single mom, both with backstories that brought them together, what more can you ask for?!

This book was heavy on the backstory/plot with an abusive ex chasing down the FMC who ran away to a Scottish town seemingly full of celebs. We liked the story, lots of twists that had you rooting for the main characters. In fact we like all the characters and actually want to read the rest of the series!

We’d say this was a book with a sprinkle of spice but that’s okay - it was a realistic amount of sex when there’s a kid in the house.... lol

They’re hot for each other, as stubborn as each other, and we could devour it in a day.

A lovely easy read, we’re glad there’s 4 more books!
